This policy explains what Beakom LLC ("Beakom," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to beakom.com and to our internet service.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
Account login details.
Payment information. Card details are collected and processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
Messages you send us, including support requests and privacy requests.

Information collected automatically on our website

Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, links clicked, and the site you came from.
Cookies and similar technologies. See "Cookies and tracking" below.

Information about your service

Your plan, modem serial number, SIM identifier, billing history, and service status.
Beakom does not log or read the content of your internet traffic. The carrier whose network delivers the service processes network data under its own policies in order to provide connectivity.

How we use it

Process orders, ship modems, activate service, and collect payment.
Provide customer support and manage returns and deposits.
Send order confirmations, receipts, service notices, and legal notices.
Send marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Measure and improve our website and advertising.
Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with law.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders and account data.
Payment processors, to charge your payment method.
Shipping carriers, to deliver your modem.
Our network carrier, to activate and maintain your line.
Analytics and advertising partners: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and TikTok Pixel. See "Cookies and tracking."
Service providers that help us run email, support, and accounting.
Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law or legal process.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising partners through pixels may count as a "sale" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws. You can opt out. See "Your choices."

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and pixels from:

Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our site.
Meta Pixel, to measure ads and show relevant ads on Meta platforms.
TikTok Pixel, to measure ads and show relevant ads on TikTok.

These tools collect information such as pages viewed, actions taken, device identifiers, and IP address.

To control them:

Use the cookie banner on our site to decline non essential cookies.
Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor it as an opt out.
Adjust ad settings in your Google, Meta, and TikTok accounts.

Your choices

Opt out of targeted advertising: Use the cookie banner, Global Privacy Control, or email us.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails: Click the link in any marketing email.
Update your information: Log in to the Customer Center.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete your personal information.
Opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information.
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise a right, email help@beakom.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We verify your identity before responding, usually by matching your account email. We respond within 45 days. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

Data retention

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

Security

We use Shopify's platform security, encryption in transit, and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. Keep your account password private.

Children

Our service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
