Terms of service

Effective date: September 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Beakom LLC ("Beakom," "we," "us"). They cover your use of beakom.com, our internet service, and the modem we ship you. By placing an order or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use the service

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have a shipping address in the United States.
• You must provide a valid payment method and accurate account information.

2. What the service is

Beakom provides wireless internet access. We purchase wholesale network access from a national carrier and provide it to you under the Beakom brand. Beakom is an independent company and is not that carrier. The service works wherever that network has signal, which is nationwide. See our Coverage page.

You receive one modem per plan with the SIM card already inserted. Plug it in and use it at home, in an RV, at a job site, or anywhere with signal. See How it Works.

3. Plans and pricing

• Residential: $49.99 per month.
• Business: $129.99 per month.

Both plans are unlimited, month to month, with no contract, no activation fee, no credit check, and no promotional period. Billing, renewal, and cancellation terms are in our Subscription Policy.

4. Your modem and deposit

• The modem is Beakom property. You may use it for as long as you subscribe.
• A $100 refundable deposit is collected at checkout.
• When you cancel, return the modem within 30 days using the prepaid label. The deposit is refunded within 10 business days of receipt.
• If the modem is not returned within 30 days, or is returned cracked, water damaged, or missing parts, you authorize us to charge $150 to the card on file.
• Do not open, modify, or tamper with the modem. Do not remove the SIM card or use it in another device. Doing so may result in suspension and forfeiture of the deposit.

5. Billing and payment

You authorize Beakom to charge your payment method on file for recurring monthly service and any other amounts you owe under these Terms. Keep your payment method current in the Customer Center. If a payment fails, we may suspend service until the balance is paid.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
• Send spam, malware, or unsolicited bulk messages.
• Attack, probe, or disrupt any network, system, or device.
• Resell, share, or redistribute the service to third parties.
• Interfere with the carrier network or other users of it.

We may suspend or terminate service for violations. If a violation causes the carrier to remove our access for your line, that decision is final.

7. Service availability

Wireless service depends on signal. Signal varies by location, building materials, terrain, weather, network load, and network maintenance. We do not guarantee that the service will be available at any specific location, uninterrupted, or error free. If the service does not work at your location, cancel and return the modem under the Refund Policy.

The service is not designed for life safety, medical, security, or emergency applications. Internet based calling may not reliably reach 911. Keep an alternative way to contact emergency services. See our Disclaimer.

8. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account login secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

9. Our content

The Beakom name, logo, website, and content belong to Beakom LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission. Third party names and marks on our site belong to their owners. See our Legal Notice.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and the modem are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. Some states do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beakom is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from the service or these Terms. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Beakom for service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Beakom harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

13. Termination

You may cancel at any time from the Customer Center. We may suspend or terminate service for non payment, violation of these Terms, or if our network access changes. If we terminate service through no fault of yours, we refund any unused portion of the current month and your deposit upon return of the modem.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in McLennan County, Texas, and you consent to that venue. Before filing a claim, contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We post the new version on this page and update the effective date. For material changes, we notify you by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Subscription Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Beakom for the service.
